Refresher on Regulation
Course description
RegulationPlease note: this is an offline course and should be booked directly with the IPA.

Recalling some of the finer details of the Ethics Code, SIPs and various elements of regulation and guidance is not always easy when you aren't presented with a need to use them on a daily basis. Exam training can get forgotten when it's not put into practice.
But it is always best to have this knowledge to hand, for those times when you need it.

Join a small group of fellow practitioners at our London offices for a day of essential training, refreshing your understanding around key areas of regulatory risk.  Practical, inter-active sessions will examine:

  •   Recap on the on-going JIC review of the SIPs - what's changed in recent years and what further changes can be expected?
  •   Recent regulatory outcomes around Ethics Code / SIP breaches - learn from others' mistakes
  •   Consider the requirements of other IPA regulations and Insolvency Guidance Papers
  • What are the practical pitfalls and the commonly encountered mistakes?

Places are strictly limited to 15 participants per session.
All materials, refreshments and a light lunch are included.
Estimated time
6 hours - including 5.5 hours classroom based
